Description

Radiologist productivity is maximized by getting studies to the radiology workstation when needed and providing tools to manipulate images for quick and efficient reading. Connect Imaging’s unique ViewBox software module provides workflow and tools designed according to accepted cognitive science guidelines. By providing predictable response, with a minimum of state changes, the ViewBox software empowers the radiologist to complete his reading tasks quickly and efficiently.

Features and Benefits

• User interface is designed by a cognitive scientist. The user can perform all normal image manipulation with taking his/her eyes off the image.
• Third panel worklist shows information and status of all studies on local workstation. Studies sent to the workstation are automatically added to the worklist.
• STAT studies can be loaded and viewed without disturbing the study currently being read.
• User configurations are maintained separately by user.
• Dual hanging protocols can be defined for different modalities.
• The response to the mouse double click (an action command), can be changed to fit the behavior desired by the radiologist.
• Full annotation and measurement tools available. Annotations are saved as DICOM Presentation States.
• Selected images can be marked as Key Images. The list of Key Images, along with descriptive text, can be saved as DICOM Key Objects.
• Patient folder shows all studies available in the PACS for the current patient.
• Studies can be sent from the workstation to a DICOM recipient.
• Selected images or complete studies can be printed to any DICOM printer.
• 3D reconstruction functions are available, including MPR, MIP, MinIP and volumetric reconstruction using predefined templates.
• (Optional) Studies can be burned to a CD directly from the workstation.
